Monthly Fairfield Private Practice Network Region Meeting on November 14 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Westport Town Hall, Room 201. The program is entitled “Myths & Facts About Rational Psychopharmacology” and will focus on three objectives: (a) review of symptoms that indicate a disorder in which medication should be prescribed; (b) evaluation of classes of medications utilized in psychopharmacology; (c) recognition of mis-diagnosis or mistreatment. As a private practitioner with a robust background in clinical psychiatry, Dr. Steve Weisblatt will deliver an informative lecture and engaging discussion on accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
Approved for 1.5 CECs by NASW/CT.
These meetings are free and open to all disciplines. The only fee is for clinicians who request a CE certificate, in which case registration is required.
