Cosponsored by the Social Work Department at Western Connecticut State University, the New York Association for Play Therapy, and NASW/CT, this workshop will help clinicians identify now play therapy can be used to treat trauma and will teach two play therapy techniques that work with children.  Presented by Dr. Gabriel Lomas, an associate professor of counseling at WCSU, Dr. Lomas is a Registered Play Therapist/Supervisor who has significant experience in trauma evaluation and treatment and who has worked with many children in treatment.

The workshop will be held from 9 to 12:30 (registration and coffee from 9 to 9:30) on June 19 at Warner Hall on the WCSU Midtown Campus at 181 White Street in Danbury.  Parking is in the garage on 5th Street.  The workshop is approved for 3 CECs by NASW/CT and RPT CEs by the Association for Play Therapy.  Cost is $10 for Students, $25 for NASW Members, and $45 for Non Members.
