License Renewals

License renewals are going to a paperless online licensing system. LMSW renewals are now completely online only and LCSW renewals are anticipated to be online by the second quarter of 2017. Approximately 60 days prior to your license renewal date you will receive an email notice. If you do not renew your license by the expiration date you will receive a second email notice 30 days following expiration. Shortly after you renew your license you will receive an email with an electronic copy of your license. You will no longer receive notices or copy of license via the U.S. Postal Service. This system depends on DPH having an accurate email address on file. You may update your email address online at https://www.elicense.ct.gov entering  your User ID and Password than selecting “My Account” at the top right of the screen. The system will display your email and you can change it by selecting “Change Email” button.
