NASW/CT Calls for Police to Add Social Workers

NASW/CT has issued a paper on utilization of social workers by police that covers both 911 calls and officer wellness. The paper was sent to all police chiefs in Connecticut in response to the Police Accountability Bill that requires police departments to study utilization of social workers. The paper was distributed by the CT Police Chiefs Association giving the Chapter greater validity.
