Each year, the NASW-CT chapter’s Latino/a Social Workers Network Annual Recognition Dinner recognizes and celebrates Latino/a social workers in a specific practice area of social work. The Latino/a Social Workers Network’s mission is to provide a professional network for Latino/a social workers and others interested in issues relevant to Latino/a social workers and the Latino/a community, to meet for sharing of mutual interests, and to address issues of concern to the Network members within the framework of the social work profession. 

This year, the Annual Recognition Dinner will recognize and celebrate Latino/a social workers who have been National Association of Social Work (NASW) members for 25 or more years. This event is attended by social workers, family, friends, and the community at large. This event is co-sponsored by the NASW/CT Latino/a Social Workers Network and the University of St. Joseph. 

To nominate a Latino/a social worker in Connecticut who you know has been an NASW member for 25 years or more, please fill out the form here. All nominees must be current NASW members. Event registration costs for nominees are sponsored by the NASW/CT Latino/a Social Workers Network.
