NASW/CT stands in solidarity with Black Lives Matter and is committed to social justice for all and ending racism. We cannot remain silent about the senseless killings of Black Americans in our country and must call out systemic racism on the micro and macro levels.
NASW/CT invites you to join us for a series of community conversations dedicated to fostering dialogue around the ethical responsibility of social workers in the racial justice movement. Time will be allotted for resource sharing, processing, and guided discussions around how to be better allies to our fellow Black social workers and the greater Black community. These conversations will allow for exploration into future action by the chapter including legislative and policy advocacy.
Members are notified of these ongoing Zoom conversations via Constant Contact emails and registration is required, so please keep an eye on your inbox.
