A support group for LGBTQ women and men
who are grieving the death of a loved one

Women’s Center for Psychotherapy offers a monthly support group for LGBTQ women and men who are grieving the death of a loved one. We are looking to establish a safe, comforting environment that supports the human grieving process and attends to the unique issues and pain that arise from living in a world that often does not validate our relationships and identities.

The group is drop in and people are welcome to attend one or on-going meetings. The support group is hosted by a community volunteer* and a WCP therapist.

Meets: 2nd Wednesday of each month
Time: 7PM to 8:15PM
Where: Women’s Center for Psychotherapy, LLC
784 Farmington Ave. West Hartford, CT
Contact: 860.523.4450 x51 for more information

This group is offered as a community service and no fee is required.

*A volunteer from SARALesbians (Seasoned and Rising Again) is participating in the formation of this bereavement group. SARAL is a local community of lesbians open to all women.
