Title: Working with Families and Child Victims of Domestic Violence
Description: In this presentation an overview of domestic violence and its dynamics will be provided with a particular emphasis given to the impact on children in the household. This promises to help attendees learn the impact and implications of domestic violence on the family and children. This program will also teach best practices to assist child and family victims of domestic violence, understand attachment implications when working with this population, and learn what the local domestic violence resources are and how to access them.

These meetings are free and open to all disciplines. The only fee is for social workers who want a CE certificate, in which case pre-registration is required. $10 Member, $25 Non-member
