“The Challenges of Working with the Addicted Client”

This presentation will include an overview of clients with co-occuring disorders, mental health and substance abuse issues, and the specific challenges of working with this population. Counter transference issues and potential caregiver burnout will be included in the discussion. Elizabeth Huber, LCSW, Treatment Coordinator at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, will be the presenter.
