NASW/CT has issued a comparison of state licensing fees that documents that Connecticut’s licensed social workers are paying the highest licensure fees in the nation.

The report compared the fees in all states and the District of Columbia based on the annualized costs for licensure. The report also notes that Connecticut is only one of six states to renew licenses annually, with forty states being biennial and four states triennial.
